This is my sweet, sweet son Reid. These are his 7yr pics…no need to point out the fact that he turned 7 in December before Christmas…but wasn’t that just last week? I can’t believe that Ms. Photog mom hasn’t taken his pictures sooner than this. All in all, I got them done right?? So, we finally got around to getting it done today and of course it was a bit windy…thus the crazy hair in some pictures! It was a little harder to get my 7 yr old to smile for pictures that didn’t look like that forced smile this age group tends to do. He has such a beautiful smile and a great laugh…but he’s not a fan of pictures! Oh well…I bribed him as usual…nothing a little ice cream won’t take care of!
My sweet little guy has the biggest little heart! He is truly mom’s protector. If I ever have a day that I’m feeling down, he is the one to show me just how much I’m loved. I can’t say enough about this little guy and how amazing he is. I am truly thankful for him every single day! He is always willing to help me in any way he can. He makes sure that he takes care of his little bro and sis and doesn’t let anyone mess with them. He tends to know when Mommy is having a long, hard day or is sad. He is more in tune with me than I have ever given him credit for or realized. He is a tender soul. One of the greatest compliments I receive about him is that others can tell that he knows he’s loved here at home! And he definitely is. I wouldn’t trade this little man for anything in the world. My only wish…I really want him to stop growing up. I know I will blink my eyes and he will be graduating and then in college and then…oh I can’t go there. For the moment, I’m going to sit here, smell the roses and enjoy every second of his little life. He is a true joy! So, Reid my darling…I love you more than you will ever begin to know. Keep that sweet, tender heart!
