April Williams Photography bio picture
  • Welcome

My name is April Williams and I am based in the North Dallas, Texas area...Go COWBOYS! Yes, I am a die-hard Cowboys fan. I have 3 wonderful children. I have had a passion for photography for most of my life and have thoroughly enjoyed it as a profession.  It has been so fulfilling to work with my clients and truly being able to Capture Today's Moments for Tomorrow's Memories.

I love being able to capture the various personalities that I am privileged to work with. My style is to capture your heart when you sit down to view your gallery. I am very relaxed on a shoot capturing not only a few posed images, but mostly candid, fun images.

I would love for you to leave me a comment as every photographer thrives on hearing about their work. Have a wonderful day and I look forward to working with you.

Marta…Senior 2011

I haven’t had the chance to sit down and share this sweet girl with everyone. We actually did her Senior pictures last month sometime…I know that’s pitiful isn’t it?!! YIKES…where does the time go?

Marta is a true gentle soul. She was homecoming Queen this year for her school (I’m proud to say that I was there to watch!). You can tell that she has a genuine sweetness about her. I really enjoyed working with her and chatting with her mom. Marta loves sports. She has played soccer since she was a little girl. We spent some time on the soccer field. We even took a picture of her to emulate a picture they have of her grandfather on the soccer field. What a cherished memory to have and to carry on.

Marta, I hope the rest of your Senior year is GREAT! Enjoy it…it will pass so very quickly.

Keisha and Kevin [Dallas Wedding Photographer]

Keisha and Kevin…or Keis and Kev as I like to call them are due to get married in May of next year! I have to say….I LOVE this couple. They truly made my heart happy while being with them. Why? Because they laugh sooooo much together. They were cracking me up at how they crack each other up. Such good medicine for the soul.

Our journey together this wonderful December day, began with them playing some “friendly” basketball together…You can see that Keis entertained her man by wearing a T-shirt with his fav team on it…but the heat was on, when she decided it was time to wear her team’s shirt loud and proud!!! He is a Lakers fan and she is a Mavs fan. And no worries gals….he didn’t really throw the basketball at her….it was all for the fun of pictures. But seriously, can’t you tell just how much fun they have together???

They don’t agree on a football team either…He is a Saints fan and she is a Cowboys fan…wonder if you could guess whose side I was on about this one!! LOL….Too bad I couldn’t even give him a hard time about the Saints/Cowboys game…dang…next year though!

Once we were done with the competition…we headed to the trolley in Dallas. They are from New Orleans, so they wanted to recreate the feel of their favorite city. We had a blast here as well. And as you can see….they were still laughing. I’m not sure what Kev was saying, but he was cracking Keis up. I love it.

I can’t wait to do your wedding in May. It will be a good time for sure. Love you guys. Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

Kim + Rik…Married November 20th

Kim and Rik were married on November 20th at the gorgeous Bella Donna Chapel! I have to tell you that I am in love with this beautiful, Italian looking chapel in McKinney. It is breath taking with a warm, romantic feel. It was the perfect location for Kim and Rik as they exchanged their wedding vows. They had a reception following at the Stonebridge Country Club. Kim has 3 beautiful children and both Kim and Rik wanted to make sure that there was a strong focus on the children. So, we had a great time with them. As you can see below, the kiddos favorite thing at the reception was the chocolate fondue fountain! Yum Yum!!! The collage of pictures of the kiddos at the fountain are compliments of my second shooter Kim Nielsen Photography.

We enjoyed an intimate ceremony and reception. Thank you for allowing us to share in your day! Congrats to you both….

Spencer….Senior 2011

Here is another great High School Senior. I must say that Spencer and I had a great time on his shoot. We were joined by his sweet girlfriend, Ashley! She was excellent at getting him posed just right and bringing out the best smiles on this face!! Spencer is on the bowling team for his school, so we hit a bowling alley for a few pictures!

Spencer, I hope you have a wonderful year. Thanks for letting me capture your Senior portraits!!

Fun with Families in the Fall….

Here are just a few of the awesome families that I have been working with over the past month. I haven’t been able to post them all, but thought I would give a quick recap of a few. I have loved working with my clients this past month and look forward to working with you more next year! Have a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season!!
